In such a course, teaching and studying is difficult. This study is devoted to develop a system to assist students to learn such a complicated subject. A computer aided learning system of electromechanics with Visual Basic 6.0 was developed in this study. The system program was designed to combine the four main parts of an electromechanic system: Sensors, Controllers, Actuators and Mechanism (SCAM). According to the properties of learning materials, various kinds of learning tools were used to construct an integrative and systematical learning platform with friendly man-machine interface. Two multi-function experiment platforms of the basic circuit of relay and cylinder control circuit were developed with student’s view.
