The statistics conducted on hospitals in Taiwan estimate that medication errors account for approximately 7.87% of deaths related to medical errors per 100 npatients. Such errors include administration of wrong drugs, administration of incorrect dosage, and administration of drugs to the wrong patient. Our computerized drug deliver cart heat integrates Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) & Barcode devices with medical information system to assist nurses to perform 3-read,5-right work so as to reduce medication errors for UnitDose level nursing care.
