At the same time UV-curable resin has been dispensed and cured by UV spot light source. The microlens and fine line are forming through the resin’s surface tension when the dispensing resin touch onto the substrate. The micro pillar is forming through Z-axis upward and dose UV spot light during the dispensing process. (The UV spot light is irradiated by three axes quartz fibers which included angle is 120°.) In this study we set up a way to measure the gap between the needle and substrate, define a way to clean the needle, and use the IR analyzer to calculate how long the resin will be cured. Through control the dosage of resin, the intensity of UV spot light and moment stage, we can obtain various different dimension or form microstructures. If all of the needles’ inner diameters are the same, we chose the smaller outer diameter. In this situation we would have stable microlens (Diameter=52~190μm), fine line (Width=133μm) and thinner micro pillar (Diameter=177μm, Height=1000μm). We can use these microstructures to execute the electroforming test. The mold has fine shape and fine surface (Ra=0.03μm).
