Description
Summary:碩士 === 元智大學 === 機械工程學系 === 93 === For the fuel to be distributed more quickly and uniformly in the gas channel, the diffusion layer and the catalyst layer, a novel channel type has been designed to improve the cell performance by the characteristic of biology. The influence of several bio-structure flow field patterns on the performance of PEM fuel cells has been investigated experimentally. The effect of different lengths of the branch of the bio-structure channel was studied under different operating conditions, including the cell temperature and the humidified temperature. A transparent PEM cell was also designed to visualize the phenomena in the channel to get more insight into the water transport of the cell. The results show that the bio-structure can make the fuel distribute more uniformly in the gas channel and that the cell performance with longer branch channels is better than the shorter ones.
