The principle of this article is to research how to use a embedded system to build a safe household environment. Originally, it is base on the mass of family need to build a tiny, low power and flexible product. Sequentially, use the broadband network gateway to integrate remote monitor systems. Eventually, the network application can spread to all family which have broadband network. We use embedded Liunx system as a backbone to consoldiate the network gateway, doors alarm and video security into one system. Base on the popular and realtime of the internet, we can access the status of our home anytime. Insure our family in a secured environment.
