Summary:碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 電機工程所 === 94 === Many applications on Internet have lot requirements for quality of network. The way to implement these requirements are known as Quality of Service (QoS). An essential component of QoS is a scheduler. DRR is one of most popular scheduling algorithm. But it has large delay time when operated at O(1) work complexity. We propose a new scheme called Pipelined Deficit Round Robin (PDRR) to use method of pipeline to reduce delay time, but still work at O(1) work complexity and have the same fairness as DRR. By our analysis and simulation, it can prove that PDRR truly has better delay time than DRR.
