Porous PAn composites with different pore size and surface area were obtained by changing the weight ratio of PAn/Clay. It was found that PC11 composite has inter-layered structure by X-ray diffractometer. The composition of PAn and montmorillonite could be analyzed the arrangement of PAn and FT-IR. The particle size and pore size of the composites were decreased with increasing the contents of PAn, whereas the pore volume increased as analyzed by BET and FE-SEM. The Tg and ΔH of closslinked PAn with expoxy resin were increased and decreased with increasing of PAn contents, respectively, as measured by DSC. Their activation energy and reaction order of thermal degradation were also increased with increasing the contents of PAn as analyzed with TGA.
