碩士 === 長庚大學 === 資訊管理研究所 === 94 === In recent years, the flourishing development of the Internet and information technology has improved the medical organization. A paper-based healthcare record has been substituted by the electronic one. With the maturity of the international standard, medical organization can share patients’ medical records with others by following the common transmission protocol. The continuous healthcare makes the interchanging of the medical information not merely confined to a single medical organization. The interchanging of the information among the medical organizations will certainly be more frequent. In addition, medical information is sensitive and private that concern of security will be increased. In order to build an integrated security architecture for healthcare information interchanging, this study uses the index center, which is independent from medical organization, as the media of medical interchange within organizations. Medical staffs can only access records with patient’s authorization. In addition, Web Services is applied as a way to transmit information via the protection of XML Encryption and XML Digital Signature. Finally, medical record index queries of general clinic visits and emergency calls are used as examples to prove the feasibility of this system.
