Most printed media has reduced itself by laying off manpower and digitalized the infrastructure to take the place of conventional news distribution . Timing , therefore , is comparatively important . By precisely controlling the document-feeding time and the editorial process , conventional news distribution may well be digitalized . Using CCPM Theory, presented by Dr. Goldratt in 1997 , the IPO ( Input , Process and Output ) of news information can reach a more effective control . In addition to promoting the function of news editorial desk , an unnamed desk lies on the next stage . By then , it will be the most works done by the least manpower and can also reduce personnel expenses . This thesis is going to probe into the current situation of editorial desk and find out the possible limitations by analyzing documents and using AHP ( Analytical Hierarchy Process ) approach . Also by using action research , positivism and critical chain , the resource amplification may reach its utmost efficiency . Under the evaluation of current media environment , the thesis will also draft a research resolution in advancing the efficiency of central editorial desk , hoping to achieve a well-influenced effect in promoting the function of editorial desk and also provide practical reference for those media who are determined to rebuild its process patterns when exercising the transformation .
