It improved buildings with stiffness and strength and enhances seismic capacity of the building. Although the nonlinear simulate models have been investigated by scholars, the numerical simulation of RC wall hasn’t had a better conclusion yet. The nonlinear analysis of SAP2000 can’t simulate the behavior of RC wall. In general, an equivalent column with M3, PMM or V2 is usually used to model walls. Therefore, this paper cites the Strut-and-Tie model and ATC-40 to infer properties of shear plastic-hinge of RC wall, and verified with large scale of RC frames tests, we hopes to provide a reasonable numerical analysis method and a convenient model for engineers to apply.
