Description
Summary:碩士 === 中原大學 === 化學研究所 === 94 === The occurrence of alkaloids and flavonoids were reported previously in Sophora flavescens. We reinvestigated the constituents of S. flavescens which was collected from Hualien, Taiwan. A combination of several chromatographic techniques (silica gel, Sephadex LH-20 and HPLC) led to the isolation of four new compounds (including 5,7,2'4'-tetrahydroxy -5'-methoxy-8-lavandulylflavanone 11, 8-lavandulyl-kaempferol 18, 2-(2',4'-dihydroxy-5'-prenylphenyl)-5,6-methylenedioxybenzofuran 21 and 2,4,2’,4’-tetrahydroxy-3-lavandulyl-6-methoxybenzil 22) and twenty- five known compounds (including two pterocarpans, two chromones, one triterpene, one benzoate, nine flavanones, two flavonols, one 2-aryl benzofuran, four isoflavones one coumarin and one chalcone) from the MeOH extract of the roots of S. flavescens. Their structures were elucidated using mass and NMR spectral methods.
