Because many neuropsychological tests lack local norms, nine normal students with the same gender, grade, and educational environment were served as control participants. All participants were measured on the following dimensions: intellectual performance, handwriting performance, and cognitive abilities including visual perception, fine-motor, visual-motor coordination, tactile perception, memory and learning processes. The main findings of this research were as follows: 1. Zu has above average IQ, but the performance of dictation and writing characters with phonetic cues were below that of the control group. 2. On the cognitive abilities, the test findings supported that Zu had significant deficits on memory function.
