Description
Summary:碩士 === 中原大學 === 電子工程研究所 === 94 === Health has been valued increasingly nowadays. Further, some patients have to monitor physiological parameters such as blood sugar or urea all the time. Therefore, in order to meet the need of portable apparatus, the development of readout circuit of low power bio-medical sensor becomes more and more important. This research uses the feature of bio-sensor, and takes the new electrochemical analysis method instead of the traditional colorimetric, to establish a low power two channel amperometric sensor system. The process of the research includes: (i)to verify the validation of the proposed system, the establishment of an experimental on-board prototype implementation by using the commercial component and three-electrodes amperometric glucose sensor; (ii)the extraction of output signals with the LabView program; and (iii)the design and tape-out of the chip. In the aspect of system efficiency, the experimental result manifests that the range of sensible electric current is 1uA〜75uA, the system resolution is 0.01uA, and the static power consumption is around 600uW. Chip implementation of the proposed circuit is performed in a TSMC 0.35慆 double-poly and quadruple-metal CMOS process. The chip area is around 0.16 mm2. The chip design part consists of the operational trans-conductance amplifier, bandgap reference circuit, and level shift circuit.
