Description
Summary:碩士 === 朝陽科技大學 === 工業工程與管理系碩士班 === 94 === The purpose of this research is to establish the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) models for assembly factories of domestic automobile and motorcycle industries. Over the years Taiwan vehicle industry output value is continuously growing. The output value in year 2005 reached highest NT$ 536 billion, which is about 5% of whole Taiwan manufacture output value. The vehicle industry becomes the very important industry in Taiwan, the output value of automobile is NT$ 230 billion and motorcycle output value is NT$ 44 billion. Though the main design and R&D of automobile industry are controlled by European, USA and Japanese plants, Taiwan automobile and motorcycle industries still get profit from Chinese-model automobile and some sales service parts, even and manufacturing key components. According to ITIS investigation report, Taiwan motorcycle industry has been the top third exporting country in the whole world in year 2002. Therefore, automobile and motorcycle industries become very important in the manufacturing sector of Taiwan. Since automobile and motorcycle industries management are going into global marketing, the first thing is raising our competition capability by TPM implementation. Implementation of the TPM allows enterprise to stay competitive and that is the reason there are more and more companies around the world start to adopt TPM. The scope of this research includes the collection and analysis of the industries environment, TPM activities, and steps of the TPM implementation to establish the suitable TPM implementation models for assembly factories of the domestic automobile and motorcycle industries. The result of this study expects to propose effective TPM implementation models that will benefit the domestic automobile and motorcycle industries most and expects to assist the TPM implementation to enhance domestic automobile and motorcycle industries’ global competition.
