Description
Summary:碩士 === 大葉大學 === 機械工程研究所碩士班 === 94 === The reserve of petroleum is exhausted. The energy crises of this generation are not so severe. But, the next generation may face that there is not energy that can be used. Therefore, it is important to develop recycled energies. Taiwan is an island. It is poor to have reservation of petroleum energy. However, it locates on Northeastern monsoon, and it has a lot of wind energy potentiality. To efficient usage of the energy especially the clean energy is an urgent topic. In this research, we developed a sensing system for a wind turbine. The sensing system includes temperature transducers, strain gages, encoders and acceleration transducer. These sensors enable the wind turbine to acquire blade strains, turbine torque, wind speed, wind direction, generator rpm, cabin acceleration, cabin temperature, generator temperature and bearing temperature. The purpose of the sensing system is to collect in-situ data for the main control system of the wind turbine during its operation. These collected data can be as references of prospective information in future design. In this system, we use microprocessors Atmel-AT89C51CC03 in the system that are able to receive either analog signal or digital signal, for data collection, as well as transfer the obtained data into Can-Bus form. These data then use CAN-Bus standard to transmit into a computer located in the control room nearby and are displayed in the screen through a VB program. Thus, the conditions during the operation of the wind turbine can be acquired and monitored.
