Description
Summary:碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 土地管理所 === 94 === Abstract As the domestic tourism recently prevails more than ever, and the recreation models have deviated from the traditional fashions like the amusement parks, the novel recreation models are augmenting their market. Among them, ecotourism is the most popular one. Ecotourism includes a series of activities featured in the uniqueness of the regional tourism such as the natural resources, the cultural resources, and the local economy. This way of tourism is expected to instill economic vitality into the community and its residents. Moreover, the development of ecotourism, via the partnership between visitors and residents, could not only help to preserve and utilize the local ecological resources, but also help to acquire the conservation fund for the area. The goal of sustainable use, therefore, could be achieved. However, because the cultural recreation resources in ecotourism are not easy to develop and preserve, and evaluating the value generated by their uniqueness is no simple matter, the management of ecotourism is relatively hard to carry out. Although a great number of people in the market emphasize the ecotourism combined with cultural recreation resources, the management models of ecotourism cannot operate smoothly right because of the specialty of these resources. In some case, the original cultural resources are even devastated. That means the improper behaviors in recreation impacting the natural environment indeed become a topic not to be ignored. The modern ecotourism combined with cultural resources is to promote visitors to integrate conservation concept into their recreational activities, to acquire the knowledge about eco-system and conservation, and to enjoy the baptism of regional special cultures. The Beikeng River Historic Trail in the Syuejian Recreation Area of the Shei-Pa National Park is one of the ecotourism markets equipped with both natural and cultural resources. The Syuejian Recreation Area encompasses not only rich wildlife and vegetations, but also the cultural and historical sites, like antique relics, obsolete communities, and a well-worn historic trail. The resources are abundant enough for visitors to feel an intact ecological environment. Yet, so far the major management model of ecotourism in the Syuejian Recreation Area still rotate on an axis of experiencing the nature, but did not include cultural resources into the overall ecotourism management. Thus, this research intends to build up an overall management model of ecotourism through classifying and deducing the management models of cultural resources in the Syuejian Recreation Area, such as inducting creative experiences of daily life, settling up an interpretation system integrating various resources, and so on. The researchers hope that the model can achieve the balance between the sustainable use of resources and the development of recreations, and finally become a reference of management models for the ecotourism market.
