It can build up the partners’ mutual relationship through supply chain leader’s Supplier Assessment System to develop the supply chain collaboration. To avoid the traditional excessive dependence on financial perspective that leads the manager to do something that hinders the enterprise for long term business progress. This research uses the Balanced Scorecard to analyse and extract the key factors of Supplier Assessment. This research will not only lead the suppliers to know the improvement area, but also can let them understand and trust members’ capability with each other. It can result in an effective supply chain group, then develop wider product category, extend product life cycle and develop the group vision by the continuous improvement. The bicycle industry has the characteristic of wider product categories, short product life cycle and renewing products every year. Our domestic bicycle suppliers are developing the high-end and multi-functional products with innovative, high quality and quick response of bicycle market vision when facing bicycle suppliers move their production line to low labor cost countries, over production and China competition. This research is using statistical questionnaire and is based on the vision and strategy of Supply Chain Group by taking ”R” bicycle company for example. The first step is to measure the suppliers’ usage degree on the Balanced Scorecard and then through the linking between Key Success Factors and Balanced Scorecard to analyse and extract the Key Factors of Supplier Assessment System. It can provide the improvement area for the suppliers and get the suppliers moving to the perspectives (financial, customer, internal process, learning and growing) of the Balanced Scorecard.
