Description
Summary:碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 化學工程學所 === 94 === Hydrogen storage alloys of magnesium and nickel were synthesized by polyol process with ethylene glycol as reducing agent and polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP)as dispersing agent. At a concentration ratio of 3:2 (0.03 mol magnesium acetate and 0.02 mol nickel acetate), the mean particle size is 72.1 nm by dynamic light scattering(DLS); the closely spaced redox peaks are 0.40 V and 0.25 V by cyclic voltammetry (CV), relative to Ag/AgCl reference;XRD results show peaks of Mg2Ni、Mg、and Ni with 32% Mg and 50% Ni from analysis of inductively coupled plasma(ICP); and the hydrogen storage capacity was found to reach 0.8~1.5 wt%. The results show the potential of low cost manufacture of metal hydrides by polyol process.
