Description
Summary:碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 兒童與家庭學系碩士班 === 96 === The main goal of the present study is to investigate mothers’ parental authority, including mothers’ conceptions and rule-making regarding 24 issues of parental authority, and mothers’ perceptions frequency and the levels of emotional intensity during parent-child conflict regarding 24 issues of parental authority. The subjects of the present study are 528 mothers with children in 5-6 elementary school grades in Taipei County. The results show, first of all, mothers consider that most of the issues legitimately subject to parental authority. Secondly, above 50 percents of mothers do not make rule regarding the issues of “the choice of the recreation ”, “add and subtract clothes in accordance with weather state ”, “child dye hair”, “child wear earrings”, “choose own type of clothes”. Except these issues, above 50 percents of mothers make rule regarding the other 19 issues. Finally, mothers perceive low frequency for parent-child conflict and low level of emotional intensity during parent-child conflict.
