Description
Summary:碩士 === 華梵大學 === 工業工程與經營資訊學系碩士班 === 95 === The characteristic of short product life cycle, fast technological advance for 3C products, fierce rivalry competition for the limited resources and market had forced many manufacturers to compete in a micro-profit market. With the unsteady supply of materials, how to effectively utilize the limited resources to create maximum throughput has become a critical issue to many manufacturers. The notebook computer industry constantly encounters the problem of unable to produce right amount of right products to satisfy all customers’ demands due to short supply of some limited materials. To overcome such problem, by focusing on managing external material constraints, the research applied the constraint management concept of TOC (Theory of Constraints) to a limited material supply case and constructed both multi-period and single period linear programming models with the LINGO software that found the global and local optimal solutions which maximized the throughput. In addition, the research also combined four scheduling rules (1. first come first serve, 2. purchase order contribution, 3. critical component contribution, 4. profitability) with three types of material satisfaction rates (100%, 50%, 10%) to form a total of 14 methods that were explored the effectiveness of getting better throughput.
