Based on the different background of students The investigation was carried out with the whole senior high school students of Kaohsiung County as the object of study and the satisfactory measure form of military-training teaching as the tool of study. The data collected from 690 students with proportionately stratified sampling were analyzed with the statistical methods of descriptive statistics, t-test, One Way Analysis of Variance, Scheffe method and Chi-Square Test. The results of this research are shown as below. 1.The students are satisfied with every detailed item of military-training teaching In the respect of life counseling, the students are satisfied except the handling of the students against regulations and the management of order and appearance. In the respect of course content, the students are satisfied with its diversity, fitting with current trend, promoting learning interest, theory and practice of technical subject, and appropriate student number in class. Moreover, in the respect of learning environment, it’s merely acceptable for the students and the ratio of extreme dissatisfaction and dissatisfaction is more than other respects. Thus it can be presumed that the learning environment of the students should be strengthened and improved. 2.The variables of student’s background that related to students’ satisfaction level of military-training teaching are grade, residential area and educational level of parents. Besides, residential area also influences the students’ satisfaction level of whole military-training teaching, course content and life counseling. School attribute affects the students’ satisfaction level of learning environment. Marriage status of parents influences the students’ satisfaction level of their attitude toward life counseling. Other variables, such as parents’ professional classification and family gross income do not influence the students’ satisfaction level of the military-training learning. 3.As for the correlation between two of the variables, that between residential area and school attribute and that between educational level and professional classification are middle. The correlation between educational level and family gross income and that between educational level and school attribute are low-middle. The correlation between residential area and educational level, that between marriage situation and professional classification, that between family gross income and professional classification, that between school attribute and sex, that between school attribute and family gross income, that between family gross income and grade, that between marriage situation and family gross income and that between school attribute and marriage situation are low.
