Supply chain is a crucial factor it can make the difference between the success and failure of a company in this business. This thesis deals with the development of a supply chain model for a Vietnamese with focus on considered specific supply chains models, to find out how the structure of a supply chain, and in particular of supply chain in Vietnamese company. Further more, the study creates factors that provide a generic supply chain model for the Vietnamese company. The newly created model could give the Vietnamese company suggestion to improve parts or even the whole supply chain of it.
Questionnaires which based on 10 distinguishing attributes develop by Mason-Jones five scale questions are constructed and surveyed in Vietnam. To ensure the questionnaires are understandable and feasible, a pre-test is carried out. In this studied issue, the author used the L.J. Cronbach’s coefficient to measure reliability and validity. Moreover, mean value, standard deviation and variance was applied to numerical data. In order to analysis the collected data, SPSS software is used to provide descriptive statistic analysis. Finally, to analysis all items in questionnaire, the following analysis method including reliability test, T-test, ANOVA, and correlation and regression analysis are used in this study to test the null hypotheses that state relationship between variables.
Findings indicate that Supply Chain in Vietnamese company is influenced by several factors such as the average margin of forecast error; level typical of products does your company engage, the product varieties in company, and the situation of using information system in company. Proposals are made for Vietnamese company operators and manufacturers as well as to the Government in order to improve the Supply Chain Management situation in Vietnamese company.
