| Summary: | 碩士 === 龍華科技大學 === 電子系碩士班 === 94 === This paper presents an intelligent home automation module which provides intelligent control instructions that users can combine to implement complex functions. These modules, up to 65536 theoretically, share the same IP address, and identify themselves over the network via different port numbers. No dedicated home server is necessary because the TCP/IP communication is handled by the module. A remote control and monitor software is also developed based on visual C++ to let users control the intelligent home automation module on the Internet. Control techniques for temperature, fan speed, etc. are also built as options into the intelligent home automation module to increase its versatility. The devised intelligent home automation module costs lower and has better cost/performance ratio than current home automation modules. It can also be easily installed by home users. Hopefully, this low-cost and intelligent home automation module can help provide more comfort, greater safety, and more efficient use of energy to average people with lower cost.
