However Operational procedure data of the enterprise is isolated in each heterogeneous information platform, which often causes duplicate and missing data. Therefore the support of information system’s decision making functionality is diminished. While industries are competing against each other under growing pressure, in order to keep its competition advantages, enterprise must build a great information system to get a good handle of purchase situation and to react timely. At the time when enterprises need to process huge data set, it is critical to construct such system to convert that data set into useful information, which will be the knowledge and wisdom of the enterprise. When facing the trend of a diversified market for an enterprise, the trend is to utilize information technology in order to reduce cost and increase competition advantage. It is a crisis not seen for small and medium enterprises that need to compete against different opponents across the world. If can not keep up the pace, they will be eliminated. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to build a Web-based Purchase Decision Support Systems by combining Data Warehouse, On-Line Analytical Processing and Data Mining technology etc, and focusing on the purchase history data of electronic manufacturing industry to analyze, convert and organize them into effective purchase data.
