Description
Summary:碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 國際事務研究所碩士班 === 94 === In the end of twentieth century, governments, non-government organization and business drive the concept of sustainable development and set environmental treaty and regulation in the international order. Due to rapid development of technology and globalization, the electrical and electronic products and components tend to be smaller in size and provide more convenience in our daily life. It results in shortening the product life cycle and explosion of WEEE. Thus, WEEE/RoHS set by Europe Union promote product characteristics toward low toxicity, recycling and energy-saving. The main object of WEEE/RoHS regulations are producers of electrical and electronics equipments and products. It regulates manufacturers to be responsible for the disposal of waste and restriction of hazardous substances, as well as product design, production line and management system. All of the branded businesses and their suppliers are all required to comply to these regulations. Thus, the empirical study of this research focused on electronic industry and analyzed the priority of green management decisional factors. This study concludes the priority of various green management decision criteria, namely total quality environmental management, green supply chain management and design for environment. It is prioritized as total quality environmental management, green supply chain management and design for environment through AHP analysis. Furthermore, this empirical survey judges individual criteria. For total quality environmental management, environmental quality assurance and leadership are the most critical criteria. For green management, material and reverse logistics are two most important criteria. For design for environment, design for disposal and design for recyclability are the most critical criteria.
