As to Internet business opportunities, it is estimated that the elder are going to play significant roles. With the age increasing, the elders will surely face the problem with physics aging, however. When they are using the internet, the visual sensor change makes them difficult to browse. Particularly, the elder will have weaker adaptation to light and shade, lower color recognition, etc.. Nevertheless, the color leads to the website style establishment and is the element which influences the browsers’ first impression. But the elder’s vision aging problems will influence their differences in color sensor image. This research includes five sections: 1. Introduction; 2.designing and executing of research; 3.results; 4.recommendations.The study explores the relationship between the elder’s visual functionality and color through the literature review at first. Then the researcher engages in image investigation by Method of Semantic Differential which is designed by the experts and has 22 different web color combination samples, to test the elder’s web color image and preference and gender cognition differences. Finally, the researcher integrates the data about the elder’s visual image cognition to provide the designers with more objective and detailed references when they engage in web color combination design. The major findings are as the followings: 1. There are differences between the results of web color combination and the experts’ cognition. The researcher engaged in Method of Semantic Differential Inventory for the elder, the switch images into numbers and drew SD Profile to understand the elder’s web color combination image and preference. 2. The relationship between the elders’ reaction and image scale is shown through correlation coefficient. 3. The factors that influence the elder are “affective factor” and “appraisable factor” through factor analysis.
