Summary:碩士 === 明道大學 === 教學藝術研究所 === 94 === The purposes of this research were to understand teachers’ satisfaction level of textbook selection, and to investigate correlative factors on such textbook selection. Also, this study aimed at teachers’ satisfaction level of textbook selection analysis of textbook selection evaluation. The research analyzed information from questionnaire survey and interviews. Study samples were selected from 500 elementary schools teachers of Chang-Hua County. A total of 451valid samples were responded. The obtained data were tested by t -test, one-way ANOVA.The major findings of this research are as follows: 1.The results perceived by the elementary school teachers of Chang-Hua County on the present situation of textbook selection tally with the rules of textbook selection. 2.The most influencing factor that perceived by the elementary school teachers of Chang-Hua County on textbook selection is "the content and the teaching design". 3.There are existed significant differences in the school locus and the class progression in the process of textbook selection opinion of the elementary school teachers of Chang-Hua County while no significant differences were found in sex, age, the service period and the educational background. 4.There are existed significant differences in sex, age, the service period and the educational background in the using satisfaction of the elementary school teachers of Chang-Hua County while no significant differences were found in the school locus and the class progression. 5.The textbook selection process opinion and using satisfaction of the elementary school teachers of Chang-Hua County exists a positive correlation. According to the research findings, this study proposed some suggestions on the selection of textbooks for educational administration agencies, primary schools and teachers to improve professional knowledge and capabilities of elementary school teachers and promote their teaching effectiveness.
