碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 農業推廣教育研究所 === 94 === This study takes communities as the main body of region integration on the base of the viewpoint of resource integration to discuss the influence of resource integration on community sustainable development. The resource-based theory, resource dependence theory and resource agency system are taken as the theory basis together with research methods such as document analysis, depth interview as well as participatory observation. And, “Saviki Community in Chiayi County”, a representative case, has been chosen as the research setting to conduct the empirical study. According to this study, the most obvious phenomena of the resource integration of Saviki Community are the three resource aspects, which are “environment resources”, “human resources” and “financial resource”. The first stage is environment resource aspect, the second one is human resource aspect, and the third one is financial resource aspect. With the development of environment resources, Saviki Community has finished “responding to the demands for resource integration”, “resources survey”, “resource recombination”, “consensus building”, “resource establishment”, “resource dependence and complementarity”, “establishing community resource network”, and has strengthened the resource links of “dedication”, “belief”, “traditional cultures”, and “feelings”; With the development of human resources, Saviki Community has experienced the production of “collective actions”, “common protocol”, “manpower professionalization”, “employee training”, “supervision mechanism”, “manpower of volunteer groups”, and “interviewing system”; With the development of financial resources, Saviki Community has experienced the introduction of resources of “expenditure source”, “accounting system”, “establishment of budget preparation”, “budget supervision mechanism”, “budget examination system”, “community benefitization”, “governmental grants”, “corporate sponsorship”, and “nonprofit organizations”. For environment resources, the methods of maintaining the integration condition in the future are “resource diversification” and connecting “neighboring resources.” For human resources, the methods of maintaining the integration condition in the future are “passing on the concept” and “introducing professional talents.” For financial resources, the methods of maintaining the integration condition in the future are “transparent financial status and residents’ trust” as well as “implementing resource sharing.” Regarding the influence of resource integration on community sustainable development, the findings of this study take community development associations as the resource integration center, and if the “fair distribution of resources” and “implementation of resource sharing” of economic benefits after effectively integrating environment, human and financial resources could be practiced as the key of community sustainable development.
