In order to be user friendly, this program was developed with Borland C++ Builder 6.0 to be worked under Microsoft WindowsTM. The data management and human machine interface program was particularly programmed to be aimed at Infant Monitoring System. The purpose is to significantly show the infant physical information that was recorded using eXtensible Markup Language (XML) format. The programs can be used on the remote and the local terminals. The user can use this program through Internet to get the infant’s information that recorded by remote embedded platform in portable hard disk. These information include special images, sounds, events, and physiological signals of the infant. This research has accomplished searching function that based on monthly calendar. At the part of conditional searching function, we have added advanced searching option to make the user easily find out the record they want. At the part of image playing, we have accomplished capturing 176 x 144 pixels BMP image files by CMOS camera of ARM9 platform.
