Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 高階管理碩士在職專班 === 94 === This study used Michael Porter’s diamond theory to probe into the condition of Taiwan Semiconductor competitive advantage. There are six key elements in diamond theory as the strong point, including (1) Production Factor, (2)Demand conditions, (3)Relevant and Support industry, (4)Strategy, Structure and Competitor of Enterprises, (5) Government, (6) Opportunity, all linked with one another, forming a dynamic competition model. This study attempts to explore the profile of the Taiwan semiconductor industry status quo and development. Another purpose of the study is to examine and analyze the current semiconductor industry in Taiwan and it’s competitive strengths in the framework of industrial theories so as to extract key factors influencing the successfulness of the industry and further to set forth the competitive strategies it should follow. To achieve the goal that I mention in the last paragraph, the evaluation of the research is based on the profession and experience of experts and scholars. It begins with the related conditions and follows the assessment principles. Then after the analysis of Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), The priority for 6 key elements is as below: 1. Strategy, Structure and Competitor of Enterprises 2. Production Factor 3. Demand conditions 4. Government 5. Relevant and support industry 6. Opportunity
