Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 醫學工程研究所碩博士班 === 94 === Since osteoporosis is common disease for old people, it can only examine by expensive instrument in hospital, such as dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) and ultrasound densitometry system in hospital for evaluating the degree of osteoporosis. The purpose of this research is implementation of a portable ultrasound densitometry system. Two kinds of BUA parameter and SOS parameter by ultrasound measurement diagnose the osteoporosis degree. The design of this research is divided into hardware and software. The hardware has four parts: (1) Pulser: using MOSFET as switch to generate the pulse. (2) Receiver: using the low noise, low distortion operational amplifier (TL071), and the high performance video operational amplifier (AD811) to receive ultrasound signal. (3) Controller: single chip (8051) control the hardware; (4) DAQ: acquire ultrasound signal and store data in RAM. The software has two parts: (1) writing the assemble language on Controller (8051) for controlling the hardware; (2) operation interface for with SOS and BUA function using for Visual Basic. In this result, we have finished the system of ultrasonic Pulser/Receiver (300V) which can be sampled at 15MHz in DAQ part. In SOS measurement, errors are all less than 2.1% when utilize this system to test phantom and calcaneum. In BUA measurement, we can distinguish normal bone phantom and osteoporosis bone phantom; but the examination for calcaneum is not confirmed whether our system can differentiate the osteoporosis effectively.
