| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 台灣文學研究所 === 94 === This thesis divides into five chapters, which aimes at discussing Chen-Ying Chen as a iterature writer of Taiwan. He was born in end of the Period During the Japanese Colonization of Taiwan , who grew up in the KMT government period after the World War Ⅱ, also has been behind bars of the White Terror in 1950’. Taiwan has westernized agitation and developed fast from 1960’ to1970’, which had a great influence of the invasion of the capitalism from his view of literature.
The thesis is mainly regarded Chen-Ying Chen’s comments as study texts, from the comments of his politics, society, culture, literature,etc., which analyzes and reflects Chen-Ying Chen’s literature vision. After merged various life experience to his later stage, he produces ' Washington building ' series. This thesis which selects Ye Xing Huo Che and Wan Shang Di Jun as text from ' Washington building ' series, and analyzes his literature accomplishment.
In chapter two, this thesis reviews author’s lifetime, observes 4 items which influence Chen-Ying Chen most was 'religion ', 'literature ',
' nationality ' and ' people ', in order to help understanding his thought and the centre spirit creation. After understanding some extention to Chen-Ying Chen 's life background of chapter three. In addition to the varity of comments that analyse his view on modernism and realism , and his special insistance on the national subjects. It firmly proves what a unique literature view of Chen-Ying Chen forms!
In Chapter four, whuch continues with studying from chapter three, it probes into the Chen-Ying Chen. From analysing Ye Xing Huo Che and Wan Shang Di Jun that observe how Chen-Ying Chen practises his ideal and view in literature.
The conclusion of chapter five, which sums up the research of the above. It is easy to find Chen-Ying Chen who not only attempts to regard the novel as a social science, but also advocates his idea on the national topic.His literature view conncets the national problem closely, which carries out ulimate his ideal of nationality merged in literature.
