Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 工業教育與技術學系 === 94 === Abstract The purpose of this study was to comprehend the work values, job satisfactions, and other related information of the mold manufacturing departments in the factories which have joined the Taiwan Mold & Die Industry Association in the middle part of Taiwan; and observe how employees at varies backgrounds differentiate their work values and job satisfactions; to discuss the relevancies between work values and job satisfactions. The research instruments of this study were referred from “The Work Values Observing Chart” and “The Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire”. The research samples contained industries which have both a molding department and more than 100 employees. A total of 329 valid questionnaires were collected and used in the research. Methods applied in the study included description statistics, analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson and stepwise multiple regression. The major conclusions of this study were as follows: 1. To the extent, the work values which those employees recognize were listed in sequence as below: job involvement, responsibility to work, pride in work, upward striving, social status of job, and attitude toward earnings. 2. As for job satisfactions from employees in the molding department located in the middle part of Taiwan, their responses were ranged between no comment and don’t approve their own jobs. 3. Some of employee’s background variables made obviously differences in work values. 4. Some of employee’s background variables made obviously differences in work satisfactions. 5. Work values and satisfactions were notably relevant. It was workable to forecast one’s job satisfaction through one’s work values. The conclusions and discoveries of this study would provide suggestions for the manufacturers or owners, administrators, and future studies. Key words: mold, work values, job satisfaction
