The parameters which affect output temperature are (a) pressure, (b) length of tube, (c) cold flow rate, (d) entrance nozzle, (e) refrigeration, etc. Then, Taguchi Method is used to obtain the best parameters of vortex tube. This Method utilizes orthogonal arrays and S/N ratio to analyze and find out sensitivity of output temperature relative to control factors. Thirdly, we utilize ANOVA to obtain the contribution of output temperature relative to control factors. Comparison between the obtained parameters and experimental data we can verity the Taguchi Method. Finally, according to the Benbella mathematics model we can predict hot the temperature and cold flow rate of the vortex tube.
