Because of inconsistent results showed from past researches, the study built up the model by way of emotional labor been an independent variable, job satisfaction been a dependent variable and personality traits been an intervening variable to probe into the relation of each items.   We researched on the object of the household department members at Changhua County by the method of questionnaire. Two hundred thirty four effective questionnaire in the received papers and made the analysis by descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA and Pearson's product-move-ment correlation statistic methods. The result showed as below: (1)Household restration staffs have high emotional labor. (2)Lower job satisfaction for household restration staffs. (3)Personality traits is the intervening variable for      emotional labor and job satisfaction. (4)Emotional labor and personality traits can predict the job satisfaction for the employees. From the results, we suggested the household restration staffs must be timely release the emotional pressure by correlative household department. When assigning mission, director should consider the difference background and personality traits for each employees and encourage them to pursue further education in order to build a positive direction for promoting job satisfaction.
