For accomplishing the research objective, this study is analyzed through documents and the survey done with the tool of research self-developed survey and the title is ‘‘Survey of job stress and organizational commitment for junior high school teachers ’’ and the effective samples come from 352 junior high school teachers in Changhua county. The statistical methods such as T test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffe’s posteriori comparison, and Pearson’s product moment correlation. were used for this case data analysis. The conclusion and suggestion is based on the result of the analyis. The major conclusions of this research as follows: 1. Junior high school teachers felt a medium stress on their job. The「adjust policy」was the highest and the 「job burden」was the lowest. 2. Junior high school teachers felt a medium commitment from their organization.. The 「intention of working hard」 was the highest and the「intention for staying work」was the lowest. 3. Junior high school teachers ’ job stress with different background variables showed 「partly」remarkable discrepancy. 4. Junior high school teachers’ organizational commitment with different background variables showed 「mostly」remarkable discrepancy. 5. Junior high school teachers’「job stress」and「organizational commitment」presented a low negative relationship but unremarkable discrepancy in general; and in each facet presented a low negative relationship and a moderate or low affirmative relationship「parly」. According to the results of the research, there are some suggestions for school administration and elementary school teachers and the suggestions can be the reference for releasing the job stress coming from teachers and improving organizational commitment.
