The picture books are both ”The Crocodile and the Dentist” and “Can’t you Sleep, Little Bear”. All the findings can provide to the parents cor reference while they co-reading with thir children. The data analysis used in this study was based on qualitative method. I take seven fathers; seven mothers and fourteen young children as target research people. The study is to proceed research in participant observation. The major finding of this study are as following: 1. Parents tend to be non-readers in the pictures books “The Crocodile and the Dentist” and to be straight readers in n the pictures books “Can’t you Sleep, Little Bear”. 2. Most of the parents ask questions with echoing as a variation of the three-part sequence pattern. The study finding: five fathers take echoing as a variation of the three-part sequence pattern in the picture book of the “Can’t you Sleep, Little Bear”; six mothers take it in the picture book of the ”The Crocodile and the Dentist”. 3. Parents-young children co-reading picture books hardly discuss with each other. 4. Young children oral response are voluntary and involuntary response. Young children oral response’s voluntary are guess pictures book context and express their feeling.Young children oral response’s involuntary response are repeat parents utterance ;and When parents ask experience question, young children bring experience response. 5. Parents-young children co-reading picture books in the pictures books “The Crocodile and the Dentist”. Young children are fear to see dentists. The finding of this study:(1)When parents change different tones, young children bring fear non-oral response;(2)When parents ask some questions, young children bring fear oral and non-oral response.(3)When parents discuss the picture books, young children bring fear oral response. 6. Parents-young children co-reading picture books in the pictures books Can’t you Sleep, Little Bear . Young children aren’t fear dark. The finding of this study: parents say story; ask some questions and discuss with young children, young children aren’t fear dark oral reponse. 7. Fathers’ interpretation are more oral response in the pictures books “The Crocodile and the Dentist” context According to the result of this study, We have some suggestions to the parents; the picture book produce persons ;the future research in this field.
