碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 森林暨自然資源研究所 === 94 === This study attempted to revise the present taxonomy of the genus Eurya in Taiwan with classical and numerical taxonomic methods. 16 species were recognized, among which one new species and one new varieties were proposed: Eurya arisanensis Hayata, E. chinensis Brown, E. crenatifolia (Yamamoto) Kobuski, E. emarginata (Thunb.) Makino, E. glaberrima Hayata, E. gnaphalocarpa Hayata, E. hayatae Yamamoto, E. leptophylla Hayata, E. loquaiana Dunn., E. nanjenshanensis (Hsieh, Ling & Yang) S. Z. Yang & S. Y. Lu, E. nitida Korthals, E. regechiensis Yamamoto, E. septata Wu et al., E. strigillosa Hayata, E. taitungensis Chang, E. tasanensis sp. nov. and 1 variety E. strigillosa var. shinsuiensis var. nova. Keys for identification of the species and varieties, color photos, line drawings and detailed descriptions to these tax were also provided in the paper These are referencls for the taxonomy of Theaceae.
