| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立東華大學 === 電機工程學系 === 94 === In the recent years, as the mobile communication develops, the demands of people on high quality mobile communication services increase rapidly. Thus, cell planning is a very important issue to every wireless communication system operators. However, most operators depend on the experience to establish the base station and can’t derive the optimal solution to the cell planning. Therefore, this thesis presents an approach for cell planning in the campus of National Dong Hwa University. First, we use EDX to simulate the coverage probability in National Dong Hwa University campus. Then, we compare the measured data with the simulation results. Besides, we also present a method to analyze the coverage probability based on the simulation results and the measured data. The results of this work can provide communication system operators a good reference for cell planning.
