This study also explored the strategies teacher applied to improve sociomathematical norms and the process of self-introspection. From this study, the sociomathematical norms that formed by students included “Backing to the problem to explain one’s solution” and “Raising questions”. The developmental process of backing to the problem to explain one’s solution to form sociomathematical norms includes the changing of teacher’s role, establishing the norm of writing down problem solving format, forming public agreement of discussion to solve the problems they encountered and the strategies of teacher’s intervening that affect the sociomathematical norm of backing to the problem to explain. The development process of raising questions to form sociomathematical norms are as following: understand what student concerns in teaching; exploring the strategy that uses to improve sociomathematical norms by literature review; the strategy of discussing the events which happen in classroom; teacher’s interning strategies that affect the sociomathematical norm of raising questions. Moreover, this research found that the process of forming sociomathematical norms has some common characters which are, first, the reflection of teaching, second, the understanding of student’s initial learning point, second, the formation of strategy based on literature reviews, third, the discussion issues based on the events which happens in classroom, and finally, the teacher’s intervening. This study also will elaborate the development of sociomathematical norm, the resources of strategies teacher applied, and the relationship between teacher’s using strategies and students’ development. Besides, this study found out the benefits of sociomathematical norms affected students learning deeply.
