Summary:碩士 === 國立花蓮師範學院 === 社會發展研究所 === 94 === A Research of the Accommodation of Children’s Elementary School Life of Migrant Brides---Instance of an Elementary School of Suao, Ilan Abstract This research uses the Qualitative Research methodology and interviews migrant brides who have children studying in an elementary school, the children of elementary school and the teachers. The research also discusses with the accommodation of the children’s school life and the influence factors. The research looks into the children education of migrant brides and their school life experience, and tries to explain the deep meanings behind the accommodation of the children’s life of migrant brides. The following are main discoveries of this research: 一、Family environment of migrant brides’ offspring. (一) Well relationship of parents’ marriage. (二) Well relationship between parents and children. (三) Well relationship between parents and children makes well development of children. (四) Migrant brides are responsible for children’s education at home. (五)The Chinese language ability of migrant brides will influence the confidence of teaching children. (六) The investment of home education resources is conservative and insufficient. (七) Education expectation of mother influences the performance of children. (八) Migrant brides’ poor linguistic proficiency prevents them from further participating in the kids’ learning activities. (九) Migrant brides don’t use native language to educate their children. 二、Accommodation of migrant brides’ offspring school life of foreign spouses (一) Student’s general performance manifests the hard-working result of parents and teachers.. (二) At first grade of elementary school, the students’ language performance gets behind others. (三) Racial discrimination doesn’t influence accommodation of peers. (四) Preschool education helps students to accommodate elementary school life. (五) There is no hindrance with interaction between parents and teachers. (六) Accommodation of children’s school life of migrant brides is approximately well. (七) Society and economy position of a family influences accommodation of school life.
