Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄第一科技大學 === 運籌管理所 === 94 === Abstract Over the next 50 years, Brazil, Russia, India and China—the BRICs economies—could become a much larger force in the world economy. The BRICs economies taken together could be larger than the G6 (Group of Six) by 2050. BRICs will be able to lead the global emerging markets, and the economy pattern also can have the significant transformation. Investors also will compete to invest any industries of BRICs, including logistics. The study investigates the logistics development of BRICs in terms of transportation, telecommunication, customs and warehousing to find out the barriers. Also, the revealed comparative advantage index shows the logistics competitiveness of BRICs and G7. The results show that India’s competitiveness is greater than that of the others, excluding Japan and France. Finally, the study utilizes SWOT to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the logistics of BRICs.
