There were four factors such as gender, learning achievement, the attitude to learning Science and Technology, and the attitude to learning computer have been employed to this study. The research samples were seven classes of grade 8 students in an industrial area of Kaohsiung County. There were two questionnaires; the questionnaire on attitudes of learning with computers, the questionnaire on attitudes of learning Science and Technology, and a unit test of “Light Transmitting and the Speed of Light” have been used in this research. All questionnaires and unit test, pre-test, were performed after the unit has been taught, and the same questionnaires with another unit test, post-test, were performed after the CAL Class for the unit. The result of this research revealed that CAL can improve the learning achievement of the students and enhance their attitude of learning with computers. Whereas, the CAL has no significantly influence on the attitude of learning in Science and Technology. On the other hand, the students’ competence in CAL is influenced by the gender, the attitude of learning Science and Technology, the attitude of learning computer, and the achievement of the students.
