Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 教育學系 === 94 === Relevant research about the elementary principal’s transformational leadership,organizational innovation and teachers’ job satisfaction Abstract This research is to understand the status quo of “the elementary principal’s transformational leadership, organizational innovation and teachers’ job satisfaction” as well as analyze the relationship among those three elements with the hope that those results would be based upon to bring out conclusions and recommendations for principals as references to exert transformational leadership, organizational innovation, then promote teachers’ job satisfaction. By way of literature analysis, questionnaire and data analysis, the study has explored many relevant researches both from domestic and overseas. The questionnaires made by the author were mainly imposed on 707 teachers of 82 elementary schools in Pingtung county, which include “questionnaire about the transformational leadership of the elementary principal”, “questionnaire about the organizational innovation of elementary school” and “questionnaire about the job satisfaction of teachers”. As to the positive data processing, all the data from the questionnaires were engaging in T test, one way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation analysis and Multiple Stepwise Regression Analysis by the Chinese version SPSS 10.0. Conclusions brought forward from the results of analysis are as follows: 1. The transformational leadership of elementary principals was above average, especially in the area of “inspiring charisma”. 2. The organizational innovation among elementary schools was also above average with the most impressive perception of “activity innovation”. 3. Job satisfaction among elementary teachers was above average too, particularly the sense of “social status” was most susceptible. 4. Older, senior teachers with administrative role, normal college degree who are serving in schools that are remote, out of Taiwan island and small got better perception about transformational leadership. 5. The same group of teachers as above was more susceptible to the innovation of academic organization. 6. And they were also more impressible to job satisfaction. 7. The more proper the transformational leadership the principal exerts, the more innovative the academic organization is. 8. The more actively the principal advocates organization innovation, the higher job satisfaction the teachers feel. 9. The more properly the principal exerts transformational leadership, the more job satisfaction the teachers feel. 10.The transformational leadership and organizational innovation of principals yield significant power to predict the job satisfaction among teachers, especially the “administrative innovation” could exactly predict it.
