Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 成人教育研究所在職專班 === 94 === Abstract The purpose on this study is to discuss on the relationship between the principal’s leadership and teachers’ effectiveness within the instruction, and it will also discover the differences in both variables as the front through comparing with different variables of personal background. Furthermore, we can analyze how principal’s instructional leadership can effect on teachers’ instructional effectiveness. The major method of the study is survey by questionaire, and the main objects include 585 teachers sampling from 45 public elementary schools in Kaohsiung City, County, and Pingtung County. Among the selected samples, we obtained 492 valid ones, and they occupied 84.10% of raw ones. The tools of research are “The Scale of Public Elementary School Principal’s Instructional Leadership.” and “The Questionaire of The Effectiveness on The Elementary School Teacher’s Instruction.”, and then the data obtained by questionnaire was analyzed by descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation analysis, one-way ANOVA, and MANOVA, at α=.05 significant level. Finally, what we can discover from this study lists as follows:(1).The elementary school principal’s instructional leadership was rated approximate at middle high level. (2).The elementary school teacher’s instructional effectiveness was also rated approximate at middle high level. (3).Basically, the elementary school principal’s instructional leadership was positively related with the effectiveness on teacher’s instruction significantly. (4).As to percept the principal’s instructional leadership, teachers performed significantly different in the background variables of the age, the years of service, the size of school, and the City or County where the school is located.(5). Also, for the perception onto teacher’s instructional effectiveness, they performed significantly different in the background variables of the age, the years of service, the size of school, and the City or County where the school is located.(6).The performance on perception was higher in Pingtung County than in Kaohsiung City and County. According to the conclusion above, the research proposed the suggestions as follows: 1.Aspect on the educational administration authorized: (1).While selecting and employing principals, the committee should pick out those who has profession and knowledge over instructional leadership, and they should also redesign refresher course to empower principal’s professional ability. (2).When the educational administration authorized faces the differences from the distribution of educational resource among different Cities or Counties; it should make up the list of assignment and backup for the resource.2. Aspect on the elementary school principal: Due to improve teacher’s ability, a principal should combine educational supervision and evaluation originated from instructional leadership simultaneously. 3. Aspect on the elementary school teacher: Due to improve teacher’s effectiveness, a perfect teacher must automatically participate in the research group formed by other teachers and share the instructional experience to other peers.4. Aspect on the research development in the future: (1).We should enlarge the size of sampling as to broaden the research. (2).We also need to use some other methods such as case study or interview survey, and the research will be deepened finally.
