The participants of this study were 20 children with asthma , which were divided into training group and control group equally. The mean age was 10.3±1.0 years, the mean height was 140.5±8.8 cm, and the mean body weight was 40.9±15.2 kg. The training group underwent a 8-weeks interval running-walking training .The frequency was 3 times a week, and the duration time was 45 minutes. The training intensity was between 55-70% of maximal heart rate. The tests including: 1.FVC, FEV1, FEV1/FVC(%) , and PEFR; 2.cardiorascular endurance of 800-meter running test; 3.IgE index. The collected data was analyzed by independent t-test, dependent t-test and one way ANCOVA. The significant standard was set p<.05. The results showed no significant differences between two groups in FVC, FEV1, FEV1/FVC(%), PEFR and 800m running-wakling test. The training group was higher than the control group in IgE index(567.8 vs. 434.8 IU/ml, p<.05). The intervention of this study could not improve the variables including pulmonary function and cardiorascular, but increased IgE index for training group. The 800-meter running-wakling test might not be appropriate for asthmatic children to evaluate cardiorascular endurance. Besides the effect of exercise on IgE index for asthmatic children need more researches to prove. Lin Ray-Shing 林瑞興 2006 學位論文 ; thesis 70 zh-TW
