Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣體育學院 === 體育研究所 === 94 ===   The purpose of the research is to study the professional development demand、State and corner of colt physical education teachers.. At the same time ,the change of the background of this profession will also be discussed.   This research paper will be based on the questionnaire and interviews. The topic of questionnaire will be based on “the development of the growing needs for the physical education teacher”. The content of this questionnaire will be based on basic information, growing needs of sports, the needs of the development of education, current situation of the development and difficulty of the development. Both the questionnaire and the interview will be further analyzed and compared.   The conclusion of this research will be discussed as followed: (1)The result appears to point out that the differences of the background factors such as the needs of development of this Profession, duration of the experience and the role of the duty at school indicates an enormous factor. The development of growing needs of this profession is differentiated in between sex and age. The difficulty of the development is though differentiated in the change of the role of duty at school. (2)The urgent necessity forprofessional development will be as followed:Learning the Knowledge and techniques of injury prevention. To improve the menthods of sports safety.The urgent necessity of the teaching skills will be as followed: To learn more educational policy. To learn the methods of educational measurement diversely and complexly. To learn new educational theory and basis. (3)The activities of professional development will be as followed: To discuss about the physical training with other PE teachers. To obtain more information from sports magazines or news papers. To read more relevant sport books or jounals. (4)The professional development plights will be as followed: the activities of sports profession are less and irrelevant; the time of the activities conflicted with teacher’s class. The result of this paper is to propose the above discussions to the government of education and schools.
