The numerical method was employed with FLUENT software to analysis the flow and concentration distribution of the push-pull ventilation. The speed and the height of the pushing gas and pulling gas were adjusted to simulate the effect of the concentration distribution. By mean of the relation between the variables of the push-pull ventilation and the concentration distribution, the result showed the better concentration value 0.01, capture efficiency with 99%, was affected by the speed of the push-pull hoods, not the height of push-pull hoods. The flange of hood benefits the capture effect more than the raising of the push-pull hoods.
