Summary:碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 運動與健康研究所 === 94 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the three-dimensional kinematics of windmill softball pitching for trunk, throwing arm, and stride foot in order to provide some information for the coach when training the player and player for better performance and prevent injury. The subjects of this study are six fast softball pitchers and their mean age is 21.83±2.48 years old, height is 172.33±4.03 centimeters, and mean weight is 73±7.46 kilograms. A high-speed motion analysis system with eight cameras was used for windmill softball pitching motion capture with 360 Hz frequency. The calibration frame and EVA software were used for system calibration and reference coordination system setting. Self-programmed using MATLAB language was for kinematics parameters analysis. The results and conclusion as follows: 1. Research this verify windmill softball pitching among the movement, pitcher throwing arm’s shoulder joint, elbow joint, and wrist jonint on horn with speed transmission, increase progressively from proximal to distal direction that carry far, accord with principle of kinetic chain. 2. The maximum angular velocity of rotation of pitchers’ body truck is obviously lower than the foreign elite athletic. 3. During accelerating, the hip joint of the stride foot totally keepextension, this one that showed as the pitcher in order to keep body truck is vertical, must prop up the body with the low limbs. 4. During accelerating, the knee joint and ankle joint of the stride foot are quite steady, this foot besides stepping forward is except supporting the body at this moment, the transmission of the low limbs strength born. 5. Before the ball release, the shoulder joint, elbow joint, and wrist jonint of the throwing arm are reached biggest, they are unstable that this causes and controls ball because of avoiding accelerating too big. 6. Pitchers’ shoulder joint in the windmill softball pitching have the situation of the excessive external rotation during the acceleration .Coaches should pay attention to the young pitcher''s pitching posture and amount.
