And how to use the container routing for decreasing the total cost is the significant concern by the liner carrier for marine container transportation. This research not only includes the routes networklization, and the continuing inland transport between sea and road transports; also enclosed the effect between the tiered stevedoring rate and the container routing. The tiered stevedoring rate is a joint alliance with different liner carriers that can enhance the negotiation status to against the harbor bureau, and acquire the lower stevedoring rate. In the practice, the tiered stevedoring rate is existed; hence, while liner carriers range over the container routing, they should take this effect between the tiered stevedoring rate and the container routing into consideration. This research focuses on the practice of the container routing using by the network graph in order to get the mathematic model; moreover, to get the results about the multicommodity network flow problem. For verifying the accuracy and application of this model; this research uses the Optimized Programming Language software to test and to examine the assumptions. The result is verified that the tiered stevedoring will positively affect the container routing. Beside, this research bases on the practical operation character; it could be the analytic tool for the actual liners’ business for improving the efficiency on planning the container routing.
